The girls Feile squad recorded their second win in a week with a comprehensive victory in Carrickcruppen against the hosts.
Showing a notable improvement from their first round win against Clan na Gael the girls never allowed Cruppen get a foothold in the game and built up a sizeable first half lead.
Despite registering sixteen first half scores it was the defensive solidity that was most pleasing on the eye with Emer O’Neill Sarah Murphy and Aurika Jankute all tenacious in the Dromintee rearguard.
A strong start to the second half put the game beyond Carrickcruppen as Dromintee’s ball retention starved the home side of possession.
All 18 girls present got extensive game time and the squad now moves on to the semi final where they play the winners of Pearse Og & Clann Eireann.
