A minutes silence was held on Sunday afternoon prior to the U16 girls game between Armagh and Cavan to mark the passing of Marie Rocks.

The silence was impeccably observed by all present and was a fitting tribute to Marie as a fervent supporter of girls football at the club.

Dromintee had three representatives in the Armagh panel with Alanna O’Neill,Grace Conlon and Lily McBennett.

Fittingly for the day both Alanna and Lily registered scores but that wasn’t enough to stave off defeat against a strong Cavan side.
