Hi All

As you will have seen by now the Under 15 girls won the Armagh Feile yesterday and go forward to represent the county in the national competition at the end of June.

It is the first time the girls have won Feile and builds on the success at both county and national level that the boys achieved in 2022 & 2023.

The National Feile will take place somewhere in Connacht on June 29th so will involve travel, an overnight stay and other requirements and this puts the onus on the girls to do some fundraising.

We are reaching out to everyone and your wider circle in a bid to raise funds but conscious of walking a fine line between two opposing elements.

Firstly we do not want and should not treat the girls any differently to the boys who have gone before them and who were fortunate enough to attract multiple sponsors. Equally we are acutely conscious that these are difficult times financially for both families and businesses in the cost of living environment and we cannot keep going back to the same well in terms of donors.

The girls and management will meet this week and consider some initiatives and will work hard towards their own journey & experience.
