The Scór Ulster semi-final took place in Killeavy yesterday.

There was great support from the Dromintee club for our three acts and we are very grateful for that.

Unfortunately, Danielle sustained an injury during the Céilí competition and we had to stop the dance. We wish Danielle a very speedy recovery.

Eimear from Mayobridge stepped in and allowed us to dance again but we were disqualified as a result and could not progress to the Ulster final.

We relied on another Down person to help us out in the set dance and Oisin from Warrenpoint stepped in to save the day. As all set dancers progressed to the Ulster final, we weren’t disqualified in this instance and will represent both club and county in the Ulster final.

A huge thanks to our friends in County Down for standing in and helping us out.

The recitation was a very tough competition and Kieran did us all proud. He was fantastic and was rightly rewarded for this with a place in the Ulster final! Congratulations Kieran!

All roads lead to Derry on Saturday 20th April for the Ulster final. Armagh are in three competitions and Dromintee are representing the county in two of them.

Congratulations to Mullaghbawn for their success in the Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental) competition.

There may be a supporters bus organised for the final. More details about tickets and transport will be provided soon.
