Scór Sinsear Ulster Final took place yesterday in St Joseph’s School in Derry.  Dromintee had the proud position of representing Club and County in two sections after winning the County titles in both recitation and set dancing.

The commentator in fact remarked about Dromintee’s strong participation in Scór and Scór na nOg in recent years.

The standard in the recitation was, as always, particularly high and Kieran Larkin was outstanding in his section with a performance to be very proud of.

The set dancers took to the floor to dance the Dublin Set following a few last minute substitutions due to injury.  The team danced a lively set but unfortunately lost out to an excellent team from Derry.

Well done to all our competitors- to Kieran Larkin, Ciara Rice, Sarah Leegan, Paula-Ann McArdle, Ciara McCoy, Eileen Phillips, Turlough O’Neill, Patrick Rice, Raymond Carroll and Ryan Hughes.  Speedy recovery to Danielle Lynch.  All at Dromintee GAC and indeed Armagh are very proud of your achievements.
