Some of our u12.5 players travelled to Hilltown this morning for their annual Gary Murray tournament. It was a fantastically well run event from start to finish with lots of games in perfect conditions. In the group stages we defeated Burren, Castlewellan and Dungannon but were beaten by 2 points by Mayobridge. We missed out on a Cup semi final due to the head to head result against Mayobridge despite finishing on the same points. We overcame local rivals Killeavey by 7 points in the Shield semi final but once again fell short to Rostrevor in the final. The boys were excellent throughout the day and done the club, their parents and coaches proud.
