Dromintee 1-13 Mullabrack 1-13
Two games, two draws and plenty more 'what ifs.'
For the second week in a row, Dromintee came off the field unbeaten but dejected as Mullabrack kicked a brilliant levelling score in the 38th minute. Indeed, the away side claimed it was outside the arc but with no VAR the ref's call was final.
Dromintee started the first half brightly with Tomas McCrink and Sean Og Hoey linking up well inside and the latter kicking a few fine scores.
Aidan Morgan and Eoin Martin were others on target as the sides trotted off level, 0-6 to 0-6 with Mullabrack taking advantage of a Dromintee black card to get the scoreboard moving.
Dromintee started the second half more aggressively and tagged on a few scores to edge ahead, despite another black card, but a Mullabrack goal edged the visitors ahead - a fine low strike past Ruben O'Rourke who had a fine outing.
Dromintee came up with a quick answer as Donal McKenna goaled at the other end - as rare as a blue moon.
Dromintee kept their noses in front and led by one deep in injury time when Odhran Hoey kicked over what looked like the clincher, but the ball hit the post, rebounded off the crossbar and away to safety.
Mullabrack kicked the leveller with the last play to complete a sporting contest.
Congrats to Oisin Gallagher who made his senior debut.
