Ulster Schools brought their 2025-26 season to a close with their Gala Awards in Belfast. Two of our own were honoured at the event with selection on the Danske Bank Football All Star team.

Fergus Toale was selected on the team of the season at right half back, with Diarmaid O’Rourke selected at centre half back. The Dromintee lads were joined in the half back line by Abbey team mate Keelan McEntee (Crossmaglen) – a fitting acknowledgement of the school’s MacRory Cup success.

Diarmaid also received an Ulster Schools award on the night as captain of the MacRory Cup winning team.
