Our U11 boys travelled to Naas today to compete against teams from all over Ireland. With the sun shining in exceptionally hot weather the boys done themselves and the club proud.
Our first game was against Rathvilly(Co.Carlow), we started slowly and couldn't get to grips with this very strong team.
We fared much better in our 2nd game against Salthill Knocknacarra (Galway) with an impressive display and some excellent scores.
The final group game against Skryne(Co.Meath) which was a hottly contested game with end to end football, in the end, Dromintee missing out by the finest of margins.
The boys saved their best performance for the last game getting the better of our hosts.
The coaches would like to thank the players for their massive effort in extremely warm conditions, each player ran themselves into the ground.
Thanks to Naas Gaa for the invite and hospitality.
Missing form the team photo is Daire O’Neill who played the first 2 games then travelled to croke park to cheer on Louth.
