Dromintee Senior Ladies qualified for a second successive Senior Championship semi-final against Crossmaglen with a comprehensive 3-15 to 0-08 win away to Granemore in the quarter-final today.
The first half was played in almost perfect summer conditions before thunder, lightening and monsoon rain erupted early in the second half to make the conditions a complete lottery for all. The Dromintee girls kept their composure to control much of the game.
In a performance most notable for some superb defensive performances, the Dromintee goals were finished my Caitlin Carnegie, Alanna O’Neill and Lily McBennett. The girls have two weeks now to recover and prepare for a South Armagh derby to determine who will qualify for the 2026 County Final.
