Our under 14 boys finished their regular league season with a win in Lurgan against Clan na Gael.

Davitt Park is always a difficult ground to come away from with a win, and so it proved. Although Dromintee lead from the start, and stayed in front, Clans continued to chip away at that lead.

Two Clan na Gael goals in the last 8 minutes made things less comfortable for Dromintee than it should have been, but typical resolute defending - and a goal line clearance - limited the damage.

Dromintee registered seven different scorers on the night, a big strength of this team and almost all the scores from open play.

This U14 squad have gone almost unbeaten all season. In addition to winning the Armagh Division 1 Championship, they lost only one league match all year (and by only a single point). An impressive achievement by a great group of lads.
