Dromintee U14’s 5:15 v Tir Na Og U15’s 1:2

Dromintee under 14 girls opened their league campaign in Portadown this evening when on a rain soden pitch they had a comfortable victory in very wet playing conditions. Playing against the hill the young Dromintee team played second fiddle to an older & stronger home side for large parts of first half but still managed to lead by 2:3 to 1:2 at half time. The second half was very impressive by the visitors who took some fine scores to run out convincing winners. The defence held firm & never conceded a score. Conditions were really wet and uncomfortable for the girls but they played some impressive football and now look forward to a home game on Saturday evening when they play Eire Og at home at 7pm. Well done girls
