Our U13's travelled to Cullyhanna last Tuesday evening where they took on a strong Cullyhanna side who had a number of players return to their panel.

Both sides played an attacking brand of football with Tomas Fox opening the scoring with a well taken point for the visitors.

Over the course of the first 30 minutes both teams exchanged scores with Dromintee leading by 3-07 to 2-01 thanks to goals from Gavin O’Rourke and Ben Mc Coy.

On the resumption of the second half Cullyhanna tightened up their defence which closed down the deliver of ball into the Dromintee full forward line. The Dromintee forward line had to work much harder to register scores but the pace of Oisin Byrne provided a challenge for the Cullyhanna defence with a total of 7 points registered over the course of the hour.

On the final whistle Dromintee finished 4-14 to 4-03 ahead. Plenty of work to be done for our next encounter at home to Armagh Harps this Tuesday evening.
