It was another proud day for the club as five of last years Under 12.5 girls team make their debuts in county colours this afternoon.

Caitlin Carnegie, Emma Toale, Grace Conlon, Lily McBennett and Sarah Murphy all played against Louth in Killean just days after making the county U14 squad.

Dromintee has the highest single representation of any club in the squad with five of the 30 coming from the club.

The girls all performed very well with Caitlin and Sarah defending vigorously while Emma Grace and Lily all got on the scoreboard.

The girls will face tougher tests in the weeks ahead but can take enormous pride from their first competitive outing in the Orange and White.

The girls will play Meath and Down in the coming weeks.

Thanks to the proud parents and even prouder grandparents who came along to support the girls.

The girls were also honoured to have their first Armagh jersey presented to them by county All Star nominees Aoife McCoy and Lauren McConville.
