Dear Parishioners

Dromintee Parish is seeking to set up a Parish Pastoral Council, which is a group of people of God called upon to review Pastoral matters, reflect on & recommend practical solutions.

The Pastoral Council will meet 8-9 times a year.  The term of office is normally 4 years but membership can be changed every 2 years if needed.  Training will be provided for those nominated, after which they can decide whether they want to proceed to be on the Pastoral Council.

Nominated people must be baptised and over the age of 16.  Everyone in the Parish is eligible to be nominated and you can vote for yourself.

Please can you have a think about someone who would be suited to the role on the Parish Pastoral Council and seek their permission before putting them forward for nomination.

The nomination form is attached, please return the form to one of the nomination boxes located in both primary schools, Jonesborough shops and both church porches.

The map of Dromintee Parish is available on the Parish Facebook page.  Ideally we require at least 10 nominees to join the Parish Pastoral Council and would encourage nominees from all areas of the Parish.

Please complete and return all nomination forms by Sunday 12th March.  Digital signatures are also welcome and it is possible for signed forms to be emailed to drominteeparish@btinternet.com. Any forms not containing a signature will not be counted.
