As there is a summer break in Go Games the u8.5s had a KIDS vs COACHES match on Sunday morning. 25 kids lined up vs 6 coaches with kids taking total control of their team which resulted in some questionable defensive tactics at dead balls and also 20 odd kids going up from throw in as seen in photos below. It was a great battle though and thanks to a last minute goal by the kids earned a well deserved 7-2 to 6-5 draw. This brought the match to the dreaded penalties and after every child taking a penalty and parents stepping in to take some penos for the coaches as they had all cramped up, Susan scored the winning penalty to send the kids home victorious on scoreline of 12-11 on penos! Well done to all for great mornings craic and coaches are already looking for a rematch before the season finishes....kids you have been warned!!
