Dromintee u13s carried on their good league form with a comfortable victory away to Shane O’Neills this evening, despite conceding their highest total of the campaign to date.

The league leaders controlled most sectors of the field throughout and only dropped their standards briefly during the third quarter, when the Camlough lads had a purple period, scoring five unanswered points.

The game was notable for strong performances from the younger contingent with Peter Rice, Scott Harris, Tomás Fox, Ronan Martin and Oisin Byrne featuring prominently in the team’s play throughout.

Dromintee finished strongly in the final quarter to recover the control they had relinquished after half time, led by some powerful attacking play from Conor Dunne and Kurt Conlon.
