It’s a big weekend for the Feile team with both strands of the fundraising campaign ramping up.
The signs of support have appeared today on the roads around the club with a significant number already sold to families, groups and businesses alike.
Huge thanks to Packie McDonald who organised for the erection of the signs today.
Signs can be bought across the coming weeks either directly on ClubZap here or via Declan McBennett if you prefer.
The more immediate fundraising effort will see the “Foot down for Feile” Spinathon at the club this weekend with each juvenile team taking their slot across the day.
The key focal point will be when the Feile boys take to the saddle themselves at 1:15 ahead of the senior Mens match against Granemore at 2pm.
Again anyone wishing to either participate or support can do so here >>>
A huge thanks goes to St Paul’s school and DP Fitness who have provided the bikes for the weekend.
It is of course a first for the club to participate in the national Fèile due to be held on July 2nd next and a huge credit to the team and coaches who secured the county title.
We ask everyone to show their support on Sunday in whatever way they can.
The catering committee will do teas and coffees this weekend across the day with all proceeds going to the Fèile fund.
Please do come along and put your “Foot down for Fèile”
